:
Renouncing by oath.

:
To put an end to; extinction

:
To cancel; repeal and annual.

:
To disappear in order to evade law.
9.
Absolve
:
To clear of guilt
10.
Abuse
:
To misuse; a corrupt practice.
11.
Accessory
:
A person who helps another in a crime.
12.
Accident
:
Unforeseen and unexpected event.
13.
Accomplice
:
A partner in wrong doing; the evidence of an accomplice is admissible.
14.
Accused
:
A person against whom complaints have been made for an offence.
15.
Acquittal
:
To set free from proceeding when not found guilty (Sec. 403, Criminal Procedure Code)

:
Giving Cause for law suit.

Actionable Claim
:
A claim to any debt or to any beneficial interest in movable property not in possession. (Sec. 3, Transfer of Property Act).

:
Proceedings in the court for the distribution of the property of an insolvent person among his creditors.

Battery
:
The actual striking of another or touching him in a rude, angry or insolent manner.
5.
Bench
:
The judges of a court of law.
6.
Bestiality
:
The abominal crime committed with an animal.
7.
Bigamy
:
The offence of going through a form of marriage while one’s previous marriage is still valid.
8.
Breach
:
The invasion of right, or violation of a duty.
9.
Bribery
:
Illegal Gratification

Broker
:
An agent who buys and sells things on behalf of others. (Secs.-494-5, Indian Penal Code, Sec. 17, Hindu Marriage Act.)
